0-2 pitch with 1 out in the 9th and a pitch clearly got away from Holmes in the rainy weather and your manager acted like a jack ass which led to the benches clearing. Nobody is trying to hit freaking kjerstad or any player in that situation

100% agree. I’ve heard from other places that some fans have called us out for being dirty hitting teams but you have to look situationally. Closer in the game, save situation, you aren’t hitting anyone intentionally. Weather also a factor. Clay Holmes has also looked more human this year so you don’t want to put anyone on intentionally. Makes no sense.

I just watched the clip. Hate to say it, but this feels like a hockey fight vibe to try and get the team motivated, and if that was the case, I disagree with it.

They were chirping at him because he had said something to Holmes which got the Yankees dugout going so Hyde started it but he won’t tell you that side. There is video before the benches cleared of him chirping at holmes
