If you can be a Mike Napoli where the defense is tolerable (unless You're Mike Scioscia) and you bop, you're pretty valuable IMO. Of course, it's not uncommon for bat first catchers to simply not hit well enough. I learned my lesson with Ryan Lavarnway. The power and eye are interesting.

I'm very wary of him. 2 CYAs, but other than that he hasn't come close to pitching at that level and/or he gets hurt. Also don't love his walk rates.
