whatever you do, do not tell them, "I'm more Canadian than you, you are Chinese." For some reason they get pissed off over that.

If you really want to get folks from Toronto riled up, tell them about something you did in NYC that was better than they have. Ape shit.

Leon strikes out looking to end the game after letting two fastballs go by for strikes (though the 2nd was very borderline).

Sox bullpen sucks, but the starting pitchers always seem to come out a batter or two too late, or relievers stay in a batter too late. Farrell deserves a portion of the blame for that IMO.

2nd rain delay in the last couple of weeks that is going to cost the Yankees a win because we had to take out a pitcher who was pitching well and go to our shitty bullpen

Well the game was in KC last night lol. Surprisingly woke up to see the Yanks won in extra
See? All your bellyaching for nothin!

Hopefully Sanchez (the pitcher) can do his part to put the O's down and the other Sanchez (the hitter) can get the Yanks within a game and a half tonight.

Yeah I need the Jays to win. It would mean even if we lose tonight that we did not lose any games on the O's in KC. That would be huge

Where the hell have you been going here lol

Eh, just some massage parlors. . .

Seriously, it was hyperbole, but I assume you're aware that Toronto is home to the largest Mandarin-speaking population outside of China. Large Asian population up there - U Presidential hopeful, The Donald, might call it "yuge."

Are you attempting to deny the fact that there's a decent contingency of Torontonians with a "we're just as good as NYC" chip on their shoulders?
Maybe some of the older folks? Most younger people in Toronto are trying to get good enough at their jobs that a US company will sponsor them and they can move to NYC or LA.

It's an older trope that "Toronto thinks they're New York". Isn't really prevalent these days.

I think there's more in Vancouver. 25% of Toronto's population is Asian in some way/shape/form; in Vancouver it's like 40% or more. It's really fucked up their housing market.

Maybe by percentage, but even if your percentages are correct, there are nearly twice as many Asians in Toronto than in Vancouver.

If 25% of Toronto's population is Asian, every person in Vancouver could be Asian and there'd still be more of them in Toronto.
