Why the fuck is a Diamondbacks fan poking fun at a team for "underperforming"? Arizona's played like a 50-71 team and is well on their way to another 90+ loss season. D-Backs have been a pretty mediocre franchise since the Schilling/Johnson days.

I think the Yankees have accepted that they have to build for the future now. Bit strange for them to be like that but there it is.

That is pretty obvious. He and another fan on here are the only two who are too dumb to realize this.

When you're payroll is $213 million...you shouldn't need to sign anyone else. Good lord, you should be stocked with all-stars en route to a World Series.

Or you can be a middling and irrelevant team...no bang for your buck at all.

Been a Jays fan since I was a kid. Got Canadian roots. I just also like the Dbacks (not exactly a Toronto rival). They suck...no argument there.

But...I could be a fan of any team and have an opinion about what a joke the Yankees are. The performance of your team doesn't give you as an individual any special status or intelligence.

Sox up 4-0 on Fulmer after yesterday's disaster. Bradley and Ortiz hit a pair of 2-run shots.

That first inning by the O's was unreal. Springer also hit a solo shot before the O's came to bat, so that's five home runs between both teams in one inning.

Pitchers duel at Camden Yards
Orioles have hit 5 homeruns, put up 8 runs, and still trail at home by 3 runs.

That makes 11 homeruns in the last 13 innings for the Orioles....and yet still cannot find wins.
This team is a cartoon character. They have exactly one talent.

They are nothing more than a free swinging softball team.

Altuve had 21 home runs in his first four seasons. He just hit his 20th of the 2016 season.

I think the Orioles need to add Mark Reynolds, Rob Deer, and Adam Dunn.

Why not.

They need to go for the alltime record number of homeruns and strikeouts in the same season.

At least that'd be a good reason to watch whenever Wade Miley starts. He has taken over the Ubaldo spot in the rotation of guy that is going to get the overworked bullpen activated way too early in the game.

Birds are going to have nightmares playing the AL West in their dreams

That division has annihilated Baltimore like nothing else

Take away Anaheim, and the pathetic effort versus the remaining AL West is staggering.
They have a winning record versus the East, the Central, and also the National League.

But, they cannot beat anyone in the AL West. They are scarcely even competitive half the time.
They would be 56-106 over a full season versus that division. Thank God the misery ends tomorrow.

Unfortunately it ended with another loss and a blown chance to gain on Boston and Toronto.
