Nothing stupid here, just a different opinion. I am old school , we were taught what you do in practice you do in game.you play every game to win no matter how many games scheduled .Good fundamentals win close games. As far as this years team, it's got everything you need to win a ring, Speed, power, good. defense , solid starters, great bullpen , experienced playerS. Don't understand how a 200+ mill payroll adds up to an average team . Most of these guys were allstars at some pt in their careers...

Yankees need to add a Big bat to this lineup. We dont have that Home Run hitter that pitchers are scared of.

Teixiera injuries have taken their toll. he is now an average 1b
Castro Still young with lots of upside
Headley nice glove no bat below average 3b
Didi nice glove no bat
Gardner and Ellsbury are both speed guys in their early 30s and have lost a few steps
Bertrand is way past his prime
A Rod is just playing out his contract.

mcann, i hope you mean better offensive catchers, cause defensively it looks like he falls over his own feet
tex, nothing wrong with him he swing's bat well and plays a good first base,
castro, on fire, great speed, puts bat on ball, gamer
headley, BLOWS
didi, very exciting player
gardner, dummy, ells has lost nothing but his respect for #28
beltran, has something left in tank, but cold weather shows his age
arod is like a box of chocolates, u never know what ya gonna get!

what we need is a coach that knows how to lite the fire, can't be babying these guys they have all winter off to recover, days off? only for injury!

With this current roster, it wouldn't matter who the manager who is. This team is at max a 85-88 win team and that's if everything go right for them.
