Bieber has been sharp and still overcoming that strike zone. Smeltzer has gotten a number of calls that Bieber hasnt. At least be consistent. Bieber just had two straight batters where he didnt get the same call as Smeltzer. It has nothing to do with a pitcher being wild

The only pitch that was a strike called a ball last inning was the second pitch to Sano.

Bieber is averaging 16 pitches per inning against a free swinging lineup with 2 absolute stiffs batting 8,9.

He’s not throwing darts for strikes. Honestly what makes him so good is all the nasty pitches out of the zone he throws.

Imagine being a White Sox fan. Team hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2008, and it’s the 100 year anniversary of throwing what would’ve been the franchise’s 4th championship only. Reminds me of that scene in Half Baked where Dave Chapelle tells addicts he is addicted to weed and he gets booed from the podium by people that blow dudes for a pint of vodka.
