Just the beginning for the 28 yr old...4-5 prime years left...Infante's age and injury history...I will take those odds.

WHOA -- i quit watching to put together a wagon for my son and i just walked outside to find the score 7-6. yikes. Detroit's bullpen isn't looking too good. I see Phil Coke somehow still can't miss any bats. Nathan has been struggling too.

We may need to bring up some young arms. like the closer we drafted last year from Texas. He looked really good in spring training. He can't be any worse than Coke or Joba.

It wasn't all the bullpen. One error in the inning, and another botched play that should have been an error. Coke IS trash, though.

Wade Davis is NOT the 8th inning guy....thats 1-2 now in hold situations......missing Hochaver again and again...need to take the chances with Herrera back in that role.

I thought Detroit FINALLY got rid of Coke, didn't they send him down or something, thought it was the best move in Detroits off season...

Wade Davis is NOT the 8th inning guy....thats 1-2 now in hold situations......missing Hochaver again and again...need to take the chances with Herrera back in that role.

I thought Detroit FINALLY got rid of Coke, didn't they send him down or something, thought it was the best move in Detroits off season...

Toss up between Davis and Herrera for me.

Detroit forgot to bring the bats out today. There goes the undefeated season.

I have to say -- I've put the fantasy baseball jinx on quite a few guys this year. My team always struggles in the 1st week or two and then starts building steam.

So guys like Billy Butler, Ryan Braun, Prince Fielder, Andrew McCutchen, Brian McCann, Carlos Beltran, Joe Mauer, Matt Kemp etc. will all start piling up the hits soon. I hope. (this isn't all one team, i'm in two leagues).

Obviously baring injury Fielder, McCutchen and Mauer will be fine. I worry about Brauns thumb. McCann will hit .260 but could hit 30+ HR's as a Yank, Beltran is getting up there in age and at some point he will drop off. Butler is a decent player who should be fine but I wouldn't put to much faith in Kemp.

Kemp is doing fine today!!!!

Mauer getting it going the last couple games he will be fine. Needs some RBI opportunities. They will come when Dozier gets warm too. Shame that Florimon is so bad and literally never gets on.
