I am not a fan of listing RP'ers in any kind of list as I feel they are inherently fickle for the most part, but if I did, I would have listed Holland hands down.

Because he's so much better defensively, I'd be tempted to put Sal Perez ahead of Mauer. If Perez was hitting for the power that was expected of him, he'd definitely top Mauer on my list.

That is actually a pretty difficult question, that might depend on the situation I would imagine. Could be debated endlessly.

I can't claim to be knowledgeable when it comes to guys on the bench outside of KC's bunch of Dyson, Maxwell, Getz, Carroll, and Kottaras. So I am not sure I can guess who the best bench player is.

Guys like Pena, Kottaras, Dyson, and 2E come to mind immediately for me. Not sure which one would be the best though.

Yeah, too small of a sample for Holland (or Benoit as a closer) to include him on a Top 10 just yet.

I can give you the homer pick since you took vmart.....billy butler could be close to vmart as a homer pick too.....id still take max this year over sale...but sale is good

No i was agreeing i wouldnt put one on a top 10 list either.....thats why i didnt have ANY relievers...holland perkins and benoit are all decent.

I was burned badly by the Chiefs last year ( I was drinking way too much Kool-Aid and predicted 11-5 and failed epically)

I think the Chiefs can make the playoffs, but only because I am highly skeptical of most of the teams in the AFC this year.

It feels like Reid offensively is putting a square into a round hole right now, why not use Jamaal in the RUN game a little more? The passing game is reasonable all things considered, but Jamaal pounding it would make it infinitely easier for Smith to attack a defense.

Not a fan of Reid's game management, but it really hasn't hurt us so I am not going to moan about it too much. The offense resembles an NFL offense more than anything now instead of Jamaal Charles and friends. Routes look like, well, routes. QB doesn't look lost if JC or Bowe aren't open.

I am far more interested to see what this Defense does when the offense doesn't turn the ball over, so far so good, but it has been 2 games.


To be honest though, I have no clue what to expect from this Chiefs team, I am just going to watch it and enjoy it. After that, I can set my expectations for the Chiefs next year. I just don't know what I am getting with this team down the line, but I guess I will find out.

Perez could be in the top 10 pick next year i believe. Mauer and perez are 2 of the better catchers in all of baseball..

Tigers dont have any great bench players.....pena has hit well....DK plays everywhere....santiago? Nope 2E? He will be gone once jhonny gets back.

I had jamaal charles 2 years ago....when he got hurt.......had bowe last year....and he killed me after the first week or 2.

They play in a mediocre division outside of denver. WC maybe.

Prince is still playing 1st for the most part, so I refuse to put Prince as the DH however tempting that might be.

I hear ya on where he's playing. But I'd rather have Prince in my lineup. But I'd like to have VMart AND Prince. My rotation: Sale, JV, Shields, Masterson and Sanchez.

Since June of last year, I'd say there's been no one in the ALC better than Max, including Sale. But us folks in the D also remember the Max that struggled with 4.00-plus ERAs and would throw 110 pitches and barely get through 5 innings.

If its just THIS year....JV gets left off.....if im building a team of stars...i leave masterson off in favor of max......jv, sale, shields, max, sanchez if its for keeps...
