Playing Maxwell and Carroll is just pointless...guess they are backups if injuries...will repeat it, we just dumped a Maxwell (frenchy) to get a Maxwell....

Not sure why the Royals didn't bring up Irving Falu, he hit decent last year and in no way is Carroll a better defender...what his "veteran" leadership...who knows maybe Yost played with him for a year in the minors...

Was still hoping to see Venture this Sept but WOW, Hochevar 5 straight strikeouts....would have to say...he might be a VERY good closer at this rate.

The Maxwell acquisition is fine as I felt Kyle Smith was a trash prospect that was barely passable as a lottery ticket. Additionally, Maxwell has hit LHP fairly well, it has been the RHP that he has been so bad against. However, The Carroll acquisition is pointless. Carroll is a slap hitter, why do the Royals have way too many of those as is. May as well bring up Falu if you want a scrub infielder to spell Moustakas.

Omaha is still in the AAA playoffs and Dayton thinks that is UBER important for some reason... some nonsense about winning ( Omaha had a losing record, but still made the AAA playoffs #WINNING):charlie:

You know what the biggest off season news will be, not Santana, not whatever FA's are out there but if the Royals actually sign Hochevar or not...

He could very well end up being...like a lot of closer who didn't cut it as starters, just great for 3 innings or less......KC sporttalk will cover Hoch more than anyone else, unless its a really big name, which is doubtfull.
