I am reasonably open to someone addressing mental health but it's really fucking hard to have empathy with a multi millionaire crying to himself over how hard his life is as he's paid to play a game for a living.
I’m in full support of people trying to address things positively. Rather than just do what every other generation of dudes has, end up being an angry drunk. Lol

But man do I ever wish we still had Parades instead.

Twins have 6 with the Os and 3 with the Royals before the break.

They have done absolutely nothing this year to suggest it could happen, but if they can find a way to go 7-2 in this stretch that would be an incredible first half finish.

Os dont have scary starting pitching but our offense sucks ass so tought to see us taking advantage. More realistic is finding a way to split those 6. Royals at home is a must sweep. Doesnt get any more direct than that. Has to happen.

Calls like this have to be instantly fireable. This is flat out negligence of simple job duties.

Kepler sucks enough as it is. He doesnt need blatant riggin to get him out. Would have loaded the bases too.

We Twins' fans can all take solace in the fact that Matt Wallner is raking in St. Paul........

Maybe Rocco should rip the team in the media more often. From the quote I heard, it appears that he probably gave them a bit of a "pep-talk" in private. It might have been a bit more personal.

There's a reason I call him Rocco the Robot. Off the top of my head he's shown fire twice this season, once for German not getting ejected for having grease on his hands and the other day. (I don't count the ejections against Boston or Cleveland because he was wrong in both cases and just looked like a petulant child)

I'm not saying he needs to be Lou Pinella telling Rob Dibble "You're not even a man!", but he has to get angry a lot more than he does when his team is not living up to their potential.

Lopez still has to prove the consistency. But as I said when Wiggy kept talking about Twins starters regressing. Theres a main starter that all signs point to improving....

I find it interesting that the Twins matched up pretty well against the Yankees this year and they have taken 2 in a row in Baltimore, but they have trouble with the Tigers -- no offense to the Tigers, by the way. They have some excellent young players there.

michael Lorenzen is the first player in MLB history to go to the all star game simply because he managed to not get injured for a substantial period of time

I think those starters are all good- I just did not think they would continue to have basically 3 of the best 10 starters ERA wise in the American League. When I made that post Ober, Ryan and Gray had a combined ERA south of 2.50......that was never going to last.

Naylor batting .301, .340 OBP, 10 hrs, 60 rbis, .815 OPS....this is after having a terrible March/April........OPS over .900 since April. Guardians actually have a 2nd decent hitter it looks like.

maybe Gimenez, Kwan and Bell will get going.

Gotta do something about Myles Straw. He has been terrible for the last season and a half. Great defense....but geez. He has been terrible offensively.

cant believe they gave up on Benson so quickly. What a bummer.

3 against Atlanta coming up.........Williams, Bieber, Quintrell vs. Elder, Allard, Soroka. Would be amazing to get the series but I am not holding my breath. Bieber vs. Allard should be a winnable game though.

I mean Gray and Ober are still like right there ha. And Ryan while you can’t just pick and choose starts to remove, basically had one killer stsrt vs Atlanta. An objectively great team. Happens.

The fact the two “worst” options are López and Maeda is what should be scary for teams. Since they are the guys with track records. It’s July. Massive sample sizes. Teams are what they are

This twins team can pitch with anyone. Whether tou trust them or not. And the offense sucks. There’s enough data to say both definitively

It appears that someone lit a fire under Max Kepler's butt. He has been playing pretty well on both sides of the ball lately. Maybe now someone will take him in a trade for a big bat or a good arm.

good win for the Guards today against the Braves. Needed that one with Quintrell on the mound tomorrow. Would be unreal to win the series but I am not counting on it
