Yep, the Tigers have been shut out three times, and also won a 1-0 game. They are struggling to hit in this extended winter (.216), as are several other teams. Cleveland only had 4 hits last night and their team BA is .158. The big difference: Liriano made one bad pitch, Kluber made none.

Hell, the Tigers shitty pitching staff has a 3.39 team ERA, and the opposing batting average is .228. That should tell you they've played in some pretty lousy conditions for hitting.

I think most players have a tougher time hitting in cold weather ... I didn't have the problem with it because I was a pretty shitty hitter in any weather.
