Thank you for those responses ... we have a 4 game series coming up ... settle it on the field and let's talk some baseball!!!

Unfortunately I won't see any of the games. They aren't televised out here.

Outside of Howie and Voltaire (smitty too when he is not running interference), there isn't a ton of regular Tiger fans in this forum. The only other Tiger fan isn't capable of talking baseball.

Voltaire mentions his fondness for Gardenhire. Let's wait and see how he responds when the team starts to struggle. How long will he stick with a "regular"? When (how often?) will he make lineup/batting order changes?
I'm not saying he should do that stuff now....but it will be coming down the road. He has to signal the front office for help when needed - let's wait and see how he does when THAT time comes.

Fair enough. I think you'd need a roku, or firestick or smartTV to watch it on TV, but I think those are pretty cheap.

Let's face it... the Tigers, Royals and White Sox all look like they are going to struggle this season. That's not an "April 9" thing, that's just me looking at their lineups and pitching staffs. The White Sox may get to upper 70s, maybe 80 wins. But only the Twins and Indians look to have winning records in the ALC.

You're right doug. 9 games into the season is the best way to judge a team. With 153 games left & no chance of anything so they should trade away their talent to save money & rebuild from scratch. 4-5, this team has no heart. Those muther fukers!
