The Twins did fine without Sano last season, and it was rumored that he was potentially available before his issues came out. So I don't think being without him will hurt as much as people think.

With so many big name free agents still on the market it's a bit early to make specific predictions. Cleveland and Minnesota are likely to be playoff contenders while the others are also-rans. If some of their free agents come back, Kansas City would probably become the favorites for 3rd.
