Sweet, I can keep my username for another year if this happens. I've been screaming for this for a while once it became obvious he wasn't going to hit 50M. As much as I think Dozier is worth throwing a bone, you can throw him a bone at 1B post Duda, 3B post Cuthbert/Moose or LF post Merrifield.

An efficient free agency for the Royals. Trades not so much, but they did as well as they could have really hoped for in FA without being dumbasses about it. Nothing to be ashamed of looking at the value they got; tanking only works if you pick the right players. People have a funny way of forgetting that part of the tanking story. Just a shame they don't have the capacity or farm to supplement the bargains they got.
