Mauer still a cyborg
You're better off.
He has half the Indians WS losses this Millennium.
Mauer still a cyborg
That was then and this is now.Yeah, he looked HORRIBLE against the Yankees last October. . .
That was then and this is now.
Kluber
Cole
JV
Severino
Colon
Who's it gonna be?
I did not.Probably Colon.
Did you know there are only 36 qualified starting pitchers in the AL?
Mauer feasts on the Tigers pitching, like he has throughout his career.
That Jake Cave home run yesterday, though.... JEEzus!
Sale and Bauer are probably out because of brittality.
Yeah, Sale was looking like the front-runner until this latest injury.
Yeah Cave has some surprise pop and decent skills.
Bauer is out. Prolly Sale unless he gets right real quick.According to Bill James/Rob Neyer's CY predictor, the AL pitchers currently in contention for the CY are:
Kluber
Sale
Bauer
Verlander
Severino
Carrasco
Snell
I'd probably consider Kluber the front runner right now as long as his back holds out.
Sale and Bauer are probably out because of brittality.
Verlander is coasting on his lights-out April/May performance - but he's been fading for a while. 4.08 ERA since June 1, 4.78 since 7/15, and 5.57 in four August starts.
Severino might be falling faster than Verlander - 7.02 ERA since July 2nd.
Carrasco could be a dark horse as he's been charging - 9-2 with a 2.00 ERA since June 2nd.
Snell's another dark horse.
Bauer is out. Prolly Sale unless he gets right real quick.
He's Chris Sale, that ain't happening.
Carrasco would have to get even better down the stretch I'd think. Could happen.
Doug isn't here.I think Verlander is in worse shape for the CY than Sale is.
So maybe it’s between Kluber, Carrasco and Snell.
Doug isn't here.
Edwin Diaz. If he gets to 60 saves....is he CY Young 'worthy'?
someone that pitches 70 innings per season isn't the best pitcher
You cannot convince me he didn't contract this in DetroitHow does that even happen?
Cleveland.
It will try and kill you.
