Kind of strange that some people simply ''enjoyed'' having doug around so they could laugh at him....as in "doug, the stupid class clown".

Yet they get upset when others called doug out for being just that...."the stupid class clown".

I suppose they like to point out their superiority on being ABOVE the common man and simply watching the stupidity without taking part. ("I say Jeeves. Bring some Grey Poupon for my cheese whilst I watch these silly peasants humiliate themselves.")

You know something? When you insult Iffy, you are insulting me. Or at least 50% of me is insulted. When you pull the curtain back you will find that the Iffy we all know and love is actually a co-op. I control 50% and the other half is like a SportsHoopla time share split among 7 other families.
I actually fucking hate it. Constantly coming and going all hours of the day and night. G'damned kids don't take care of the place, insurance premiums are going through the roof and I cannot prove it but I suspect @broncosmitty is squatting in da batroooom!

As bad as the Tigers are (especially lately), they still have 8 more wins than the White Sox and 14 more wins than the Royals.

I guess the conclusion here is that the AL Central is a real horseshit division. And that may be an insult to all the horseshit in the world.

I agree ... the good thing with the Tigers is that they are in full rebuilding mode, the bad thing is the Chicago White Sox are there too and maybe a step or two ahead of us.

Yeah, most of the Tiger prospects are quite young ... 1-3 years away from the Bigs. Some of the White Sox prospects that they got in last year's trades are playing this year, and taking their lumps at the big league level.

The Tigers have 5 minor leaguers among the BBA Top 100 prospects, but four of them are pitchers. Highly rated positional players are few and far between.

Refresh my memory on the football part, I was talking about your goal of the Tigers losing 100 games. If the Tigers were in 1st place 7.5 games ahead and cruising to a division title, I would not worry about a sub par team losing 100 games. I do understand, that you may be at maximum capacity and the Tigers failure may be the highlight of your day. I apologize for belittling your dream ... mea culpa.
