If I am an out of work, ex-college or semi-pro pitcher...or maybe if I even pitched a few minor league innings for a major league team....I'm packing my glove and spikes and heading for Lakeland, Florida. The Tigers' list of pitchers, reaching down even into AA is weak. Sure they have their "prospects", but those guys are a year or more away from the majors. Damn, give it a shot! If you don't mind living in Toledo - anybody that can throw a baseball near 90mph and come close to the plate, could find themselves pitching for the Tigers this summer.
