If we can trade both of our 2nd round picks (Chiefs and 9ers own pick) for a mid 1st round, I would be happy. Even if it's for a late first. With two first round picks (our own and the 2 second round picks we traded to move up) I would package them to move high enough to select a player line Louis Nix or Sammy Watkins. We should focus on getting playmakers on either side of the ball.

Nix fits the mold by a margin... but i never viewed him as strong... that could change but never saw tremendous power behind him yet.

They already have a DT from (as Golden Tate would call it) No-truh Dahm: Ian Williams. I wouldn't mind Nix, but I think I'd go with a #1 CB and a #1 WR before I go with Nix. I'm not sure which good ones will be available in the mid 20s and at #32 though...

CB is #1 on my wish list too. I'm hoping for a trade up for Roby from CB U. But the Niners NEED to keep the DL strong, and Justin Smith isn't going to last forever. They need at least one pro bowl caliber DL on the team IMO, and and much as I love Ray Mac, he isn't it.

Anthony Johnson from LSU is on my radar as well as is Dominique Easley.

Hey Sick, just curious, what DB's or Wr's do you think Brooks could get? I agree that he has real value in trade but I can't think of a specific scenario that would net us one or the other.
