Would you question drafting Aldon Smith without the whole hindsight is 20/20 game? As a football player, he's a beast.

Drafting players that end up getting in trouble with the law for one. Now having one player get in trouble is one thing, but the 49ers have had a several. That's on the GM.

Ok, so aside from Aldon, who did they draft/bring in that became a problem? Ray Ray had been on the team for like 7 years, BEFORE Baalke was in at GM. Ahmed Brooks was brought in BEFORE Baalke was in at GM.

If the 12 arrests since 2012, Aldon Smith accounts for 5 of them. If you want to fault him for drafting Aldon while playing the Hindsight 20/20 game, then I guess you could make a case. But one player doesn't constitute GM having any semblance of serious blame for this, at least in terms of BRINGING IN GUYS.

This seems more like you trying to fit a square peg into a round hole with this argument. Should your GM be blamed for all the SEA players testing positive for "adderall"? You have argued that the actions of the individual shouldn't be extended to someone who neither encouraged nor participated in the negative behavior in the past when referencing your team's drug epidemic so why is this scenario so different?
