Imagine the NFC playing the normal 16 game regular season NFL schedule and the AFC playing a 15 game regular season schedule.

I think we can all agree that conferences that play a 8 game conference schedule will have more wins than a conference that plays 9. So yeah..... a balanced schedule would make sense
