I know that is a common theme for the "win now" crowd, but I just don't think he's worth the money. I've posted on the Dallas board before that I'd be ringing up CHI about Forte first. I know they don't want to part with him and you don't want to buy high, but what would Baltimore want to discuss Forsett? That's the kind of guy Dallas needs, a homerun hitter who can break tackles. Considering he won't be trying to break tackles of DLmen but LB and secondary, he could really do a lot of damage here.

Without knowing exactly what teams are offering, I wouldn't ever say "nope". Every player is available for the right price this time of year.

The asking price from the Vikes and what AD wants in pay is too high coupled with the fact the Vikings really believe they can win this year makes it highly unlikely they move him.

I wouldn't ever say never....but if someone was willing to pay what it would take to pry Peterson away from the Vikes, I think you would have seen them make that offer on draft day.

For the Vikings, this is one of the most important seasons in the franchise's history. That isn't nationally reported a lot. Those PSL's don't sell themselves.

Looks good for the Vikes, if they can go 7-9 without AP on the arm of a rookie QB with their pro bowl TE missing half the season and their starting G & T out it's scary to imagine what they can do with Teddy working as the starter all through camp, AP back, Mike Wallace signed, K. Rudolph healthy and their line back healthy.

The Vikings just became a real threat in the NFC north, it's still Green Bay's division to lose but the Vikings with their great draft and FA pickups are that much better.
