Who losing this game helps Kentucky more?

I suppose if Kentucky just wins their tournament that they could be #1 overall at this point.

I would be more worried about UT tomorrow if I'm you lol.

But I think there is a great chance if UK does get a #1 seed, one of these teams will be the 2 seed in that same region

There is a team that played them both on neutral courts. They got embarrassed vs one in the first game of the year and dominated the other midseason. All three are very tough at their best.

I'm not saying nobody can beat them. I'm saying no one can beat them in this style of game.

What I think has nothing to do with tomorrow's game. If Kentucky wins tomorrow they are a #1. Maybe even if they don't. To be honest I'd rather have them be a #2 with unc than a #1 with duke, but they are as good as anybody when they click.

The only time the ACC Championship didn't feature a team from North Carolina in it was 1990 when Georgia Tech beat Virginia at the Charlotte Coliseum. The 1st ACC Tournament was in 1954.

Nobody.

I don't remember it ever being so unclear. Gonzaga doesn't deserve it but might get it. Virginia might back their way in. Kentucky, Duke, and Tennessee all have a chance.

Gonzaga losing the WCC title game ended their hopes.

UVA not getting to the ACC finals kinda gives them a chance to miss out on the top seed.

If Duke wins tomorrow, will the committee forget about their 3-3 record without Zion as they're clearly a much better team with him in the lineup

Well half the teams are from North Carolina...

Great game by Carolina and Duke. The Carolinas are the best

If Duke beats FSU and Kentucky wins the SEC Tourney the top four seeds are UVA, UNC, Kentucky and Duke, and the Zags are #2 seed. Just because Gonzaga is the best team out West won't matter. UNC could be a #1 and Zags a #1 if FSU beats Duke. FSU should be a #2 seed at a minimum by beating UVA, IMHO

I think UVA is still the #1 overall seed.

Not a particularly strong #1 overall compared to years past, but with nobody else stepping up to take it, I think a 3 loss team with all 3 losses being to teams in the top 12 is the strongest resume.

Duke isnt as good a team right now as they were before Zion's injury. Zion is 100%, clearly, but the team chemistry is not 100% right now. K has a fair bit of coaching work if the Blue Devils are going to cut down the nets in Minneapolis. I wouldnt be surprised if FSU beats them tomorrow.

If Duke had picked up where they were before Zion's injury and been dominating in the ACC tourney, I could see the committee looking past their mediocre record without Zion and giving Duke the #1 overall seed.

But that's not the situation that we are in. Duke will probably get a #1 seed if they win tomorrow. But not the #1 overall.

I think they'd give it to Virginia, Kentucky, Duke, and Gonzaga even though if don't think Gonzaga deserves it.

After extended research, I've come to the conclusion that Zion is a BEAST, RJ Barrett is kinda ass, and Cam Reddish is definitely ass.

I agree with that. I just think playing in the WCC hurts Gonzaga. I could definitely see the 1 seeds being UVA, Duke, UNC and UK (if Duke and UK win their tourny's). FSU beating UVA should solidly put them at a 3 seed, regardless of what happens with them and Duke. If they happen to beat Duke, there has to be some talk of them sneaking into a two seed.

Zion Williamson over the last 24+ hours - win over Syracuse and win over UNC.

60 points (on 26-of-32 shooting)
25 rebounds,
6 steals,
3 3-pointers
2 blocks
2 wins

Duke scored 50 points in the paint tonight. That's the most UNC has allowed in a game in 8 years.

Here's Zion Williamson's shot chart tonight.

Agree. Although I think the champ comes from Duke, UNC or UK and it won't matter because the committee will create the matchup of Duke/UK or UNC/UK.

If UK wins today I feel like they are 1 to UNC's 2. UVA 1 to UT 2. Duke 1 and Michigan State 2. Zags 1 and FSU if they win as 2.
