My only hope for the bracket is that Duke and Maryland aren't both in the East bracket, and set for a potential meeting in DC

Terps fans dont know how to be civil when it comes to Duke. I'm pleased that the Devils never to have to go to College Park anymore, and I dont want to have to play them in DC

Yes, I think its safe to say Maryland has the worst fans of any team ever in the history of basketball

Don't they still use the Pod system? UVA won't travel far for the first couple of games no matter which region they land.

I was under the assumption that the top 3 1 seeds were able to pick which region they could go to. I could be wrong though. So I figure if that’s the case then Duke will probably be ranked higher after winning the tournament and thus, go to the East and UVA would probably go to the South and go to Louisville if they make it that far.

UVA's first/second round games will almost assuredly be in either Columbus, OH or Columbia, SC

Both significantly further for Virginians than DC

NCAA is just being dumb. NC hosted last year and will host again in 2020

Columbia has zero little basketball history, while Greensboro and Raleigh are loaded with it. Charlotte is a major city. Greensboro is a historic CBB town and arena.

Raleigh, because of the Carolina Hurricanes, and Charlotte, because of the Charlotte Hornets, might have resulted in a scheduling problem but Greensboro should have certainly been available.

He practiced yesterday for the first time since the injury at UNC so I'm expecting he's day-to-day which they won't need him this week I don't think, but they will need him next week if they win out this week
