I think worst case for Big10 now is a 6-6 split.

Solid chance they win all 3 of the remaining games to take the challenge.

I think the ACC is more likely to win than we are

BC's a much better team than Purdue (yes, BC is 3-4, but three of the losses are to undefeated teams and one is to 7-2 Providence. All were close). I give Purdue 40% because of the home crowd.

UNC loves playing up-tempo teams, and Michigan State loves to play up-tempo. I'd give MSU a 75% chance here.

Nebraska's better than Miami, but I still think it could be a loss. Say 70% Nebraska.

With those numbers, it's only a 21% chance of a B1G win. I'm too lazy to look up the ACC.

All excellent predictions but Illinois choked the chicken and you couldn't predict that. You might lose one more if MSU doesn't get their act together. We need this for the big ten to win the darn challenge and perhaps be thought of as the best conference in the land.

I expected that from Nebraska but not a decent Tourney team from last year.

Miami was one of the oldest teams last season. Stacked with seniors. That plus Shane Larkin leaving early hurt them badly.

Yea, and they had a decent 2013 class coming in.

13 points/half won't cut it even against Nebraska.

Nebraska is actually quite a bit improved from what they have been the last couple years but are really young and still need to gel as a team.

Miami lost their top 6 scorers from last year so not really even close to same team as last year.

Just roll with the home teams and one or two upsets. Can't really lose like that.

Last season Maryland wasn't too awful (25-13, NIT semis). With the addition of Smotrycz I would have expected Maryland to be fairly decent this season (Michigan could sure use him right now). 5-2 on the season with a near win over a good UConn team and an okay win over Providence. Still some hope for the Terps to make the NCAA Tourney. Probably a bubble team again and will need some big wins.

Layman & Faust completely "no showed" tonight. Cleare was a non factor. Can't blame Wells or Smotrycz for their efforts. They are lacking an experienced point guard also. Hopefully when Allen gets back they will improve. Disappointing performance tonight however.
