F'n UNC and f'n Wisky/VA game.

Pitt, SU and Clemson on the leader board for the acc. Lame teams in USC and UCLA but two coaches to keep the presses humming. Throw in UK's darlings and the one armed kid in Flordia.....this is going to be one weird assed year of bball.

Lots of homer blame to go around in each conference.
Buckeyes won so that is good right or do they play nobody in basketball too?

Lol at everyone getting mad at Michigan State when Illinois scored four points and gave up 19 in the final 6 and a half minutes.

Also, I wouldn't have minded a loss in the ACC-B1G challenge if it meant Duke lost to Michigan.

Has anybody seen my dog?

He's a 100# black Lab...name is Bubba. Has sensitivity issues...shifts the scene when I lose my shit...hasn't been around since about 10p last night. Please call if you see him.

Maryland - meh...welcome to the Conference, guise.
Ohio State - meh...grudging respect for Bucks cbb morphs into outright jealousy.
Wisconsin - meh...Bringing 'play-at-the-speed-of-smell' new respectability (like it or not, it's real.)
Virginia - meh...38 pts? A new embarrassing low for a traditional national powerhouse's long slide.
Northwestern - meh...did anybody really expect anything different?
North Carolina State - meh...always nice to see JimmyV's team doing well this time of the year.
North Carolina - wtf...Roy's voodoo contract with '3-hour Energy' is paying off, it seems.
Michigan State - ugh...wifey hid the gasoline - saved our sofa; s'too rainy to torch the damn thing.
Boston College - meh...back to the theology books, boys; they're all yall've got.
Purdue - meh...grats to Painter (pedestrian 'street art' - but it sells well in Lafayette.)
Miami - meh...psst, storm was last year; pretentious breezes don't cut it in tornado-ravaged Midwest.
Nebraska - meh...new kids on the block earning their way into tepid Conference discussions.

c'mon home Bubba...I promise not to go ballistic again (until Saturday :L)

Two straight years with ties. Why don't they just play 11 games, stupid!

Next year if they play 14, I am going to laugh. Fuck the ACC has a 15th team now. Does the University of a Chicago play basketball?
No. We get the Chicago Bulls instead.

Maryland is in the B1G so that's a wash. 6-5-1 ACC with the win, no doubt.

Fuck Muhhhrlynd. Get the fuck out!

Big tenors can have Maryland. Glad we are getting Louisville.

Wondering if the B1G is going to help Maryland cough up that cool $50 million exit fee? Ya thank? :laugh3:

Yeah, sure. You wanted 'em, you got 'em.

And thanks for not taking Notre Dame up on their deal. We like them half way in our league, too.

We are going to help them pay the 50 million by letting them make about 4 times more in the B10 than they do in the ACC :) so I guess the answer to your question is yes. :suds:

As someone who writes, reviews, and funds grants that's pennies and academic partnerships have little to do with "conference affiliation." The CIC is nice but it is hardly a game changer. Hey if it was a good move for Maryland, great, but lets not act like they were living in the boondocks.
