Got to get younger
Good point. You can rely on a great QB, but will there be a system in place or the adaptability to do it?

In this day and age, it seems that the young QBs are making the splash.

Rodgers to either Pittsburgh or Denver for sure. Minshew could be a good option for a stopgap or an Alex Smith type role.

Before the TJ deal they had the 2nd most projected cap space in the league next year. I think they could fit it. But it could come at the cost of not being able to extend Minkah Fitzpatrick. That would be my biggest concern.

But I'm only interested in doing that if the Steelers go all-in on rebuilding the OL. Spending the league-lowest expenses on OL is obviously showing.

Diontae Johnson gets open, but Claypool seems 2 steps slower this year. I like Juju and his physicality, but he just doesn't seem to be used correctly anymore. He can't get open in 1 on 1s and needs to be backshouldered or "thrown open" sotospeak, which Ben just can't do very well anymore.
Speaking of being used incorrectly, if they continue to use Fitzpatrick as a single-high safety as they have been the majority of this season (minus week 1 @ Buffalo), then they might as well let him walk. There's far cheaper guys who can serve that role

The Oline is in shambles. Rodgers isn't getting younger. His game isn't Brady's.
Rodgers is nowhere near being done, at least in the way that Ben is done

There is none. I think Pittsburg is going to be a bottom team for a few years.
Sadly, I have to agree

You would be doing backflips in the streets if the Steelers got him, you would be a fool, if you didn't.
This. Any Steeler fan that says they'd be upset with Rodgers as a stopgap until the next true franchise QB gets drafted, is either full of shit, or retarded. I doubt it happens, but would be over the moon if it did

After watching Rodgers on McAfee's show, I'm starting to think he'll be a Packer next year and maybe through the rest of his career. He seems to have worked out most of his grievances with the front office. Them listening to him and getting Cobb seems to have really helped the relationship.

Rodgers has said he love the city, fans, teammates, and coaches. If the front office just starts listening to some of his recommendations, I think he'll retire a Packer.

Oh, and he's growing that disgusting hair for a Halloween costume.

Rodgers is still one of the best in the league, I don’t see him falling off a cliff like Peyton. He has another 4-5 at least if he wants to keep playing. They replace Big Ben with Rodgers and that’s a playoff team, if they upgrade OL they are contender. Plain and simple

It’s not so bad down there. I have a lot of experience in that position so if you need some counseling or moral support, feel free to reach out.

I'm sure as a Steelers fan he knows plenty on Browns and Bengals fans who can guide him on how to cope.
