Outside of the Super Bowl year, Rodgers is 1-4 in the playoffs. That includes a loss to the Giants in 2012 when they were 15-1 in the regular season. He's a fantastic quarterback, no question, but I think guys like Bradshaw need to cool it on him.

Wow didn't realize that but to be fair I think his defense has betrayed him. Also now with Lacy he won't have to win the game by himself anymore.

The Super Bowl victory more than makes up for that

Over rated. Kap is 2-0 against him in the playoffs and 3-0 overall.

Aaron Rodgers is among the best in the league. It is a team game. Up until this year GB had a crappy run game and suspect D. Football is a team game. When we beat them in playoffs last time, our D didnt have to worry about run and we just loaded up with DBs. Rodgers could only dream of having a D like ours

I think at this point, the 49ers have put a major ding onto Aaron Rodgers legacy.
Beat them 4 times in a row, eliminated them twice in the playoffs two years in a row.
That's a major ding.

For QBs, people don't remember that the QB had a bad O-line, or bad running game, they just remember wins and losses.

I still remember GB knocking us out of the playoffs in the Steve Young years several times.

Rogers is a great QB but truth is he only has 1 ring and as of late he cant win in the playoffs.

So what did that do to Steve Young's legacy?

So what did that do to Steve Young's legacy?

Well he still lives in Joe Montana's shadow for one. If not for those Green Bay losses he likely wins another Super Bowl or two and becomes the greatest 49ers QB in franchise history. He had the numbers but not the rings.

I think that I would appreciate Rodgers more if two things hadn't happened. If he had been drafted in a different year than the year we got Alex, I think that it would've been removed. Not only from me but from the people talking about our decision. Second, if he were in a different conference or at least a different team than the Packers, we'd have less reason to dislike them. I think he's a great quarterback and I think he is classy. I didn't like how he questioned us in the combine and then complained that we didn't pick him. I think that if you are in a job interview, you do what you're told. And then when you're picked, I think you have leverage. But then again, Nolan was a control freak. Chances are he wouldn't have picked him anyway.

I agree Peyton would be the greatest if he had at least 2 more super bowl wins.

Rogers is great but is a little over rated in the terms that he has all those weapons and he cant win the playoffs.

Peyton had a chance to give his legacy a HUGE boost, but he pissed it away with that pick he threw to Tracy Porter.

He also pissed away a huge opportunity in 2005 when he had the best team in the league, IMO, but he over-threw guys by like 10 yards throughout the whole AFC Championship game against Pittsburgh.

He's had mediocre to outright terrible defenses and up until this year, no semblance of a running game. The fact that he already put that team on his back and won a SB is astonishing.

He has a ring and that matters most.

Didn't packers have a good defense the year they won? I think that's also when Starks busted some good ass games there.

He has always had a plethora of WR options that's for sure.
