Red Sox continue to hit rock bottom... and then bore through it to reach new depths.

Yeah, the Red Sox have been disappointing this year, with that roster they should be doing much better. How long before we see Farrell let go I wonder?

Who on the roster, makes you think they should be doing better?

The pitching staff outside of Porcello has been inconsistently average over all their careers.

Offensively, Ortiz and Father Time have caught up to each other. Pedroia has been injury riddled the last few years, but still good when playing. Panda is a career 291/344/459 hitter, who hasn't reached any of those numbers since 2011. HanRam and Napoli were still good hitters coming into this season and the rest of the lineup is unproven rookies.

I still think the Sox have at least one run in them this season, but the pitching will be the downfall.

While this is true, his 2015 stats are well below his 2012-14 stats.
2012: .283/.342/.447, 123 OPS+
2013: .278/.341/.417, 116 OPS+
2014: .279/.324/.415, 113 OPS+
2015: .245/.305/.367, 89 OPS+

Basically a downward slide with a big jump down this year.

But he's gone from being an above average hitter to being below average. And even his defense has fallen off.

Hoping Boston pulls it together soon, with the hitting in that lineup, it should cover up any holes the pitching has. In any event how about those Blue Jays?

Boston's opponents through the Fourth: Atlanta, KC, Baltimore, TB, Toronto, Houston. That's 5 teams currently with winning records including 3 division leaders and a team 1 game back of both the division and WC leads. If Boston can't come out of that 20 game stretch with at least 13 wins, time to start looking for trade partners.

Hopefully the Yankees DFA this Ramirez kid and never put him back into a MLB jersey.

Other than the Blo Sox, this division is absolutely rolling right now.
Tampa is 10-5 in June.
NYY is 8-5 in June.
Baltimore is 10-5 in June.
Toronto is 11-3 in June.
Boston is 6-9 in June.

Tampa, NYY, Baltimore and Toronto continued their winning ways last night, while Bawstuhn continued to suck balls.

I'm sure Yanks, Rays, O's, and Jays fans wouldn't mind if that trend continues
