Big series (for June) starting tonight with KC in town. Vargas with a 6-2 mark and 3.30 ERA this season, but 0-1/6.00 ERA in two starts vs. the Tigers. Verlander pitching like absolute puke lately (1-4/7.59 ERA in his last 5 starts), but 1-0/3.46 vs. KC this year, and 17-5/2.89 vs. the Royals for his career. Something's gotta give.
