I wonder if San Diego would be willing to part with Cashner or Shields?
Huge improvement over Simon and whatever crap we pawn off as a 5th.We will give you Pelfrey and Nolasco!!!!
I bet they'd deal Tyson Ross.I wonder if San Diego would be willing to part with Cashner or Shields?

Shields would come at a huge price after just signing this offseason. I'd imagine.
After losing a first to you guys for him this year Id think they'd want more MLB ready returns than any of the obvious rental options out there. (And there are some very good ones. Until just a few days ago I was kinda interested in several.)Payroll flexibility will make Shields cheaper than many would think I bet.

But maybe they'd want to free up money longterm. Just doesn't seem like something a team would want to do, trade a guy that signed longterm just months after getting there. I'd think agents and players themselves would make note. But maybe, idk.
He did come on the scene all gangbusters.Well, Preller might be Beane-esque aggressive tradewise with a bigger budget. Seems plausible given his short tenure.
The Donaldson trade is still highway robbery for the Jays. Somehow, they're below .500.He did come on the scene all gangbusters.
Could go all crazy at the deadline too.
Grandal for Kemp was as dumb a trade as I can think of so I guess I wouldn't put anything past him.
Time to fire that piece of shot Ausmus.
The way he managed the first-round last year (like an inexperienced POS) I'm surprised they brought him back.
july 17. that's when the season really starts.
tigers only 3 games back.....from a wild card.
with that starting pitching of the royals....central is wide open

Yeah, that one made no sense to me.The Donaldson trade is still highway robbery for the Jays. Somehow, they're below .500.
