all joba has is a breaking ball. and he throws it all the time. he never throws 2 fastball in a row. whole league knows it...all except joba and ausmus... Joba proved last year he aint the 8th innging man.

Kluber had the same innings (one fewer out), more Ks, more shutouts and more wins. Rob Neyer's Cy Predictor actually had Scherzer as #2 behind Kluber.

I was and continue to be a little surprised that they gave it to kluber, but to call it a "complete sham" is female-level melodrama. Do you sit down to pee?

No it isn't. And 2015 has nothing to do with last year's CYA. Indians defense has been killing Kluber this year (and last year, to a lesser extent).

His recent struggles don't look to be related to talent. Kluber mentioned pitch sequencing, which makes some sense to me given just how hard he is getting hit despite otherwise good movement. Not quite an act of god type SSS, but it should regress towards his FIP relatively soon.

I thought we had the Royals beat when it was 3-4 KC. Pitcher had just walked two runs in and we had the bases loaded.

Was not to be though. Perez came up and watched the first two then swung out on the 3rd. What a waste.
