He screwed your fantasy team by not allowing a run and getting the save? That's cute

the Whip and loading the bases is what I saw right when I switched over, worst he looked all season practically.

The West is garbage. Houston had better not finish 4th out there.

In other news, the Twins are above .500. Who saw that coming after their godawful start to the season?

I'll give them 3rd for now. Still riding the M's and Angels for a while longer. Especially the Angels with Richards coming back. If the M's still look craptastic and have another losing month, I'll have to re-evaluate that division.

I'm not sure Id wager on Houston winning the division, I just don't see 3 out of the other 4 finishing ahead.

Let's go baby!!

God that bullpen collapse vs Tigers keeping us from a 6 game WS and being 14-11.

But, just being over .500 right now is nice!!

Did you know the Royals have nearly octupled the DRS of the Tigers at 31-4? On topic though, Yost/players are pulling a Leyland hoping for a homer even if the runner can well. run, efficiently. With that being said... it's still 24-21 in the SB department. Hardly an eyepopping number.

Twins win another!!

Idk how long we will hang around competitively with still very questionable pitching across the board but it was obvious the offense would eventually get itself going.

Damn Santana taking illegal substances!!

And didn't pick up a game, either...

Moose I really just wanted the Moose's thoughts on KCs draft? Buddy at work was no pleased.

Bums... I think the Vikes had the best draft in the Norse. That D is quietly looking good on paper. See if it translates to the field?

I thought the Chiefs draft had a lot of boom/bust prospects, much moreso than one can say with the typical draft class: Peters and Conley lead the way there. Peters and Conley could be absolute steals, or they could be absolutely dreadful and washout almost immediately with a ton of debris along the way out.

The 2nd round pick is interesting in that the scouting community apparently likes him at Center more than draftniks. I wasn't a fan of Morse in the 2nd, but I am willing to give him a chance. The 2nd CB that was drafted strikes me more of as a sure tackling nickel CB in the Sutton 3-4 scheme. I don't see an outside player. I didn't like the idea of drafting a N-CB, regardless of quality, in the Pioli era, and I am not changing that now.

Ramik Wilson provides immediate competition at the S-ILB spot for Mauga, who quite frankly, was awful at times last year. Another ILB was drafted for more of a backup W-ILB role.

"Shag" fits in as the 3rd TE along with Travis Kelce and Demetrius Harris; all of them being rather swift by TE standards.

Nunez-Roches is more of a backup NT to spell Poe who has been playing 85-90% of snaps... as a NT.

Hate the 7th round pick given Tre McBride and Dezmin Lewis were still on the board, but oh well.

Overall, there's a decent amount to like in the day 3 portion outside of the 7th round, but ultimately, the draft is going to hinge on how Conley and Peters pan out. It's not like they didn't address needs or had overly absurd reaches, but there's a lot of bad that also comes with the high ceiling this class has.

The Tigers are looking pretty damn good for having 1 of their 2 aces on the shelf and having lost their closer to open (pun intended) the season...
