From 2011-2014, he had a .356 OBP and 121 OPS+. In 2015, he had a .377 OBP and 120 OPS+. How are those not similar?

The fact you even remotely suggest KC's rotation isn't shit is hilarious.. but then again.. this is coming from a guy that suggests he sold his thriving pizza restaurant because his partner was getting a divorce so he could then go to work as a manager at cabela's. He can point out what ever he wants about Gordon's OPS+... The guy is not the same player he was in 2011.. nor will he ever be again. His playoff performance was extremely average... yet he just got paid on par with people that are MVP caliber. Alex Gordon is getting paid like a top 25 position player.. and he might not even be the 4th best position player on his own team... Cheer and celebrate all you want for Gordon's resigning.. its a shit deal no matter how he is paid out... Small market teams don't win when they start giving 32+ yr old players 72 mil. Small market teams win when they get players that outplay their salary. There is NO WAY Gordon is going to outplay his 72 mil contract. In 2 years you won't even want to see him in the lineup. He is coming out of his prime and coming off a season where he missed a large chunk of games. LOL... lets all celebrate a team for giving a player the largest contract in franchise history when he is obviously not even close to the best player on the team.
