Not one GM would take Mauer over Vmart at this point.. Not One. Vmart has 3 yrs and 51 mil left... Mauer has 3 yrs and 70 mil left on his deal...

Martinez will hit more HR.. have more RBI.. will have a lower strike out rate... GUARANTEED. He probably will have a higher batting average and OPS next year too. Mauer has no redeeming qualities at this point. If you think there is a GM in baseball that would pay $5mil more a year for a guy that has less power, strikes out 3 times as much, and has equal odds of being injured and is nothing special on defense.. I just laugh at you...
