Damn....one f'ing sad dude. His entire life seems to revolve around his desire to see the Royals fail. It is always pathetic when a fan from a last place team spends an inordinate amount of time finding fault with a winning, successful franchise. Remember how ignorant and insipid the Royals and Indians fans sounded when they attempted to downgrade the Tigers success during their 5 year run as division champs? Now we have a sorry-looking Tiger fan attempting to do the same thing to the Royals who have achieved success over the last two seasons. It is a pity that some people ignore history and repeat the mistakes others made that came before them. I guess it is a human ''vice''.
This is a smack talk thread... Thats what you do on it.. you talk smack.

The dude is just lost, he had a good job for years. Royals basher while they were losing, cake job. Just confused and lost since last season. He is trying to find his place, guess pro Tigers farm scout of selling fans on players from the 30th ranked farm system is his new "calling".
This clown sure knows what I am posting... almost like stalking.... hmmmm

With the obvious caveat of my fanhood beginning and ending with the Royals, I'd respond D- they easily have the longest window until further notice; and therefore more chances to win rings. A poke in the eye? T'is merely a flesh wound. I am tired of mediocrity.

Please Moose.. tell me more about how your window is open for so long... Do you honestly think the Royals can afford Hosmer for more than another season? Heck.. I don't even think they can afford Moustakas much longer. You literally have 2 years max before the majority of your team is through arbitration or a free agent.... is KC magically going to become NY and keep them all with a mega payroll? If you don't win it all this year... which you won't... what kind of rotation do you think you are going to field next year? Do you honestly think your team is going to have a better rotation? You do realize you are replacing Guthrie, Young, Cueto, and Madsen right? You can't afford to bring them back... they are all going to leave. You have NOBODY in the minors ready to come in and throw meaningful innings. Your bullpen is slowly weakening... Your team in no way shape or form is going to be better next year. You won't have Gordon, You won't have Holland, You won't have Zobrist. You have little to no money to replace these players with free agents because of rising salaries and arbitration raises... Your rotation is going to be Ventura/Duffy/Medlen/and 2 total scrubs... Not one of those guys will throw 200 innings... Your losing 2 of your best relievers in Holland and Madsen... Where are you going to find quality innings let alone quality starts? But yeah... your window is wide open after next year... You sound like the Royals version of Doug saying your window of contention is wide open.

Its funny what one miracle playoff run does to a fan base... Tampa fans thought the same thing... Just because you made one deep run doesn't magically make a small market team into a big payroll club. Your tv market is the smallest in the majors... you will never get the big tv deals like teams in LA, Chi, Phi, and Det. Stl owns your area... Your attendance didn't even break 3 million after a 30 year drought from the playoffs ended... what part of this adds up to having a large payroll like a team that gets 34,000-45,000 in attendance a game EVERY YEAR, and has a TV market that pays them 150-300 mil a yr in addition revenue... KC is lucky to make 50 mil a yr off local tv deals... LUCKY. Reality isn't going to be pretty when it hits.

Meanwhile... in Chi.. Cueto is getting bombed again... Royals rotation is a dumpster fire... just what you want to see out of a team a few days before the playoffs start. LOL

Totally right Iffy.. you going to go over to the Tigers thread and tell us all about how much better baseball was in 1934? Or is it going to be the ol' managers don't affect teams? Or are you going to call for the team to trade Miggy or Vmart again? Wash, Rinse, Repeat it is...

Detroit has proved that a "mega" payroll can't get a ring without heart or playing as a team, really don't even need to look to NYY. They actually got worse the higher the payroll, higher attendance and big TV deal. But, but, DD and Avila are great GM's, lol.

You said last year Royals couldn't afford to sign anyone as well as the year before, they keep signing people and raising payroll each year but I am sure you will be right one of these years. They won't be stupid enough to give out Verlander and Miggy contracts. They don't have the money to be foolish, leave that to ANA, DET, NYY, LAD, TOR to sign guys that will play below their value. See its great having players actually "playing" to get contracts, with the royals or not, a bit more incentive. You keep saying its a bad thing but love having players play above their value. 2015 spending on Miggy, Vmart, Verlander= worthless, spending on Morales, Hosmer Edison=valueable. but you keep thinking spending more is the key to success.

You might not understand this but other teams ranked much higher in minor league rankings do so because they have much better arms and bats in them. I know your used to looking at the Tigers minors and try to create something out of nothing.

You keep talking out your ass while the Royals continue to prove you wrong, guess you can say whatever you want but from you its just all talk. All your "predictions" have yet to be correct, any of them so far, in almost 3 years. Just keep repeating and hoping they will be correct one day, then you can say "see, I told you", lol.

Man, it tears you up seeing the Royals in the post season 2 seasons in a row and doing better than the $170m Tigers with the best hitter the last decade and all those Cy Young pitchers two years in row. You actually can see your team's heart for what it is, dollar signs. Miggy and Verlander gave up on winning after 2013. They get paid winning or not. I would like to see 1 Det fan say that they would have ever thought a team with Miggy, Verlander and Price would be not only a losing team but a last place team. Hell I thought they would at least be 2nd this year. Something in that clubhouse quit and died and it doesn't matter who is brought in if it isn't removed, I thought it was Leyand but its still in that clubhouse.

KC's farm system could easily be ranked below Det's next year... have you looked at it lately? With call ups and trades.. it has nothing much left. Mondesi sucks anus hole... and Zimmer is going to be 25 yrs old and only has 7 starts in AA because he is made of glass. But but but your farm system will save you! hahahaahhahahahaha

I am just going to sit back and watch KC in the off season... next year when camp breaks and they have a rotation filled with fecal matter.. it should be fun to see da55bums squirm when I said I told you so. Your bullpen is not only going to be a lesser version of itself next year without Holland and Madsen... but its getting more costly because of arbitration raises.. nothing like fielding a 20 mil+ bullpen when you rotation is total puke!

If you believe the Royals are going to keep hitting on under the radar signings like they did with Madsen and Chris Young this year... You are nuts.. those were lucky breaks... for christ's sake even Joe Blanton worked out. The funny thing is these guys all came in and raised their value to the extent that the Royals can't afford to bring them back... So they find themselves back looking through the scrap heap to replace a LFer, about 3 bullpen arms, and at least 2 spots in the rotation... Do the Royals have 1 guy that can be counted on to go 200 innings next year for their rotation?

The Tigers ability to sign 60 mil worth of free agents will save them...

The Royals better hope the Angels make the playoffs.. because if the Astros make it.. the Royals will have a losing record vs every team in the AL side...

Royals currently would start out vs the Rangers... who they have a 3-4 record against... interesting enough... they actually have a losing record at home vs the rangers...

Pathetic.

dabums...can you see the outcome (re: vice)? There is a good chance that the Royals don't win the World Series this year. As soon as they are eliminated, vice will be here telling us, "I told you so!". LOL. He will spend hours gloating that he predicted it, and that because the Royals did not win the series, their season was a failure and that they were no better than the Tigers. LOL. He will try and brand (again) the Royals as short-term miracles while ignoring the fact that HIS team has to be one of the three biggest messes in MLB.

Oh Iffy... can you tell us all how the Tigers are one of the three biggest messes in the MLB? Would love to hear this one...

Out in the yard today, thought I would do some cherry picking. I know I will never be as good as ''others' here - but let's give it a go....

"Yordano Ventura's last 10 starts: 6-1, 2.51 ERA, 70 strikeouts in 61 innings."
"Wade Davis's last 17 innings: No runs, 7 hits, 21 K's, 5 saves, a win, 2 holds"
"Kendrys Morales Sept stats: .326 avg, 7 HR. 1.029 OPS."

(I am sure this will be followed by what parents of young kids call the "Yeahbutt". As in, "Yeah, but the Royals still suck". LMAO)

At least you know you have a problem. Sad that you have to wave it around in front of people. Perhaps it is therapeutic for you? You've been at this for how many years? Just out of revenge you say? Hopefully this helps solve whatever other problems you are dealing with.
