A great breakfast today

Got me a big heaping of eggs
a slice of ham
two pieces of toast
and a bowl of apple cinamon oatmeal with some vanilla almond milk

What brand of flavored milk do you use? I've never tried it and I eat oatmeal 5-6 times a week. I want to give it a whirl.

I usually use Silkk

its not bad, depends on whether you want the sweetened or unsweetened, I always get the unsweetened.

Trader Joes brand is very good as well......

Nice. I love Trader Joes, and I've seen Silkk on the shelves. I'm gonna try it. I drink a lot of milk mostly 2% so I could stand to change it up. Thanks!

My sunday brunch was french toast...but not the normal, boring kind.

I make mine with babka...a dense, slightly sweet bread with regular and golden raisins. (I think it's an Eastern European bread...comes in a round loaf).

Cut into slices a little over a half-inch thick, soak in beaten egg with a little half-n-half and a dash of vanilla, griddle 'til golden brown, and serve with real maple syrup. At the risk of using a Rachael-ism, yumm-o.
