First full season.

It usually takes 255 lb outfielders atleast 650 abs to reach proper seasoning.

I expected total embarassment

guys that do baseball for a living, all their lives, in the minors, are embarassing themslves much more

I'm going to coin the phrase "Teboner," I doubt anybody's ever thought of that before now

As in: "The Mets signed Tebow for all their fans who might possibly have a Teboner;" not "That terrible misplay in the outfield was a classic Teboner"

Jordan was in AA though (and jumped right in, no fall or winter league), 2 years older, and the numbers aren't that far off. Tebow is striking out a higher rate, plus Jordan stole 30 bases (at a mere 62.5% success rate, but still).
yeah, AA, and drove in 50.

hitting .224 in A ball is a very bad sign that you're in the wrong line of work.

The only question left now is, with the Mets becoming a total train wreck, does Tebow get called up in August just to sell tickets

Sell tickets?!? We need his BAT. Maybe you guys haven't watched much of the Mets this season, but we SUCK. Got shut out by the Dodgers last night....the DODGERS! A man with a .224 average could come in handy
