There are ways to make this work during the old silly season...really a spinoff of the old Shell Wonderful World Of Golf.

1...has to be free TV...go find some sponsors to fund the pot.

2...mic the players/caddies

3....have side bets on every hole that comes from the players own pockets

4....instead of winner take all...have a charity based and the winner's charity gets like a 70/30 split

5...get more current players
