They screwed up the link and forgot to put the paysite in on most cable companies. so now they are refunding people who paid the $19.99 to watch it.


There is no way they just decided to lose millions of dollars because of a broken link.

I'm betting they had about 100k in subs and that was not enough to cover the cost of even setting up the PVP payment system. So they just pulled the plug. And it keeps the event from suffering a huge embarrassment by having to report the sales numbers.

It's SOOO much easier to say it was a malfunction and try to save face by giving it away and write off the loss than admit it was a failure.
