only 2 hit more than 20 homers nap 23 papi 30 its all about when u hit not how much:suds:

It wasn't stocked full of home run hitters, but they did finish 5th in the AL in home runs. They also led the AL in doubles and finished 3rd in triples. Their ISO was 2nd in MLB behind only the O's, so there was plenty of power. They led the majors in OBP, SLG and were tied with the Tigers for 1st in wRC+. Pretty much everyone with meaningful playing time was an above average hitter.

get ready for some winter hefty pay days:suds:

MLB.com's Jon Morosi confirms that the Blue Jays have signed Marco Estrada to a one-year, $13 million contract extension.

That might seem like a hefty chunk of change for a 34-year-old with a 4.84 ERA in 176 2/3 innings this season, but Estrada has been much better in the second half and the free agent market this winter will be light on mid-tier starting pitchers. Plus, one-year deals are hardly risky in this modern MLB landscape where every club is flush with cash. 2018 will be Estrada's fourth year in Toronto. He owns a 3.81 ERA and 1.175 WHIP in 533 2/3 total innings as a member of the Jays.

I liked him, Lynn and Cobb as guys that could come reasonably priced this offseason

If 90% of the game is half mental, would that mean that the game is 45% mental? What Yogi said, while awkward, wasn't really mathematically impossible nor incorrect , was it?

disagree, I think Lynn could get overpaid. He has a 3.09 ERA, but his underlying stats (K/BB, FIP, xFIP, etc.) all suggest he's gotten a lot of luck, not to mention his strikeouts fallen off dramatically over the season (8.2 K/9 in 1st half, 6.2 in 2nd)

Well, I would like Lynn the least of the 3 before you provided those numbers, simply because the other 2 are AL Beast tested

Always a big roll of the dice banking on mid rotation starters that go from the NL to the AL beast

Cobb's had a strong comeback year, but he missed a lot of time over the last few years. He was really good until he got hurt in 2014.

I like guys a year removed from the surgery

I even like a guy like Tyson Ross who has some really electric stuff

next season he will be 2 years removed from his surgery, thats a guy that can come real cheap with major upside IMO

The New England Patriots will honor former cornerback Raymond Clayborn during a special ceremony during halftime of Sunday's game vs. the Houston Texans. Clayborn was voted by the fans as the 26th person to be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame earlier this year.

Clayborn was a three-time Pro Bowl player (1983, 1985, 1986) during his 13-year Patriots career that extended from 1977 through 1989. He was drafted by the Patriots in the first round (16th overall) out of Texas in 1977 and quickly established himself as one of the game's best cornerbacks, as well as a superb kickoff returner.

He set a franchise record with 36 career interceptions, a record which Ty Law tied in 2004 and remains today, 28 years after Clayborn finished his Patriots career.
