I'm beginning to think that getting 38 games against the Tigers and ChiSox would tend to inflate any teams' record.

At the beginning of the Indians win streak, they were only 13-11 against the Tigers and WSox. Those two teams account for half of the streak, but the Indians also tore through the Royals (23-2), Yankees (17-7) and Baltimore (12-4).
