next season he will be 2 years removed from his surgery, thats a guy that can come real cheap with major upside IMO

Ross was a really good pitcher for a while, but he has more walks than strikeouts this year. That's pretty worrisome.

I don't know where to allocate the blame, how you enter a season with that pitching and expect to win

yeah, can't blame him for that roster construction. I think Fangraphs and BP projected them to be under .500 this year and they've been outscored by 63 runs. They lead the AL in home runs, but they're only 7th in runs scored because they're near the bottom in OBP. The rotation might actually be worse than it was expected to be.

I didn't say that no team could beat them in the playoffs. I said the Dbacks and Rockies couldn't, and I reminded a poster who won the series between Washington and Los Angeles last year.

I can't speak for Dodgers fans but I'm not. It's the same thing every year, the Dbacks end up not even in the conversation. The NL is up to the Nats and Dodgers.
