The Giants are scheduled to pitch Alexander in Game 2. Oh boy! Since his ERA since the ASB is almost 6
Maybe he'll pull a Kauffmann and shut down the Rockies for 4 innings! nah!

I really do hope the Giants at least salvage a split for both today and the series. Really looks bad if we cannot win a 4 games series in Colorado.

“Winning” the series is already out the door. At this point, we are just trying to salvage a split.

Sorry, I worded that last sentence incorrectly. Meant to say that it really looks bad if we cannot win or even split a 4 game series in Colorado.

The marks of a poor team playing poorly, the board snipes at each other as well as players, coaches, managers, front office people, etc.

As much as I like our two rookie catchers, they have a lot to learn still. Hopefully Posey can instill some greatness in them this offseason. :hope:

If there is one thing to "fix" in the off-season it is base running. I can't remember a team being this poor at going from 1st to 3rd on a single, or scoring from 2nd on a single to the outfield. This team literally needs four singles to score one run.

If we were a bad team all year I don't think we'd be so disappointed to be honest. I thought we were at least better than this.

Posey is moving back to the BA. I would only assume that is to be closer to the team (I have not heard any reasons for his relocation).

I would hope he works with the catchers moving forward. His knowledge and presence would be invaluable.
