Don't you know, if Shaw plays no one will trade their best slugger for him. If the Giants sit him, teams will be knocking down their door to get Shaw, intrigued to find out what kind of player the Giants are hiding on their bench.

Being serious, I thought that they shook up the coaching staff last year. With all the talk about Bochy expressing a desire to return and the FO's contracts expiring in 2019, is ownership going to give everyone the boot a year early? Are they not getting punished for toeing the ownership's plan?
