Arias has been hot lately, so if oxy can't go why not try him at lead off?

Giants have now gone 27 innings with one total walk, and have lost all three games. They have scored four runs in those three games. And given up 27.

Playoff baseball? I think not.

Meanwhile, Dogs win, again against the hapless Rox, while we lose against the hapless Snakes because we couldn't pitch nor hit. (sigh)

Given the urgency of scoring 1st (Giants are now 22-51 when not scoring 1st, a .301 winning %), why have Perez hit leadoff? If Pagan can't go, get someone else there? Dude went 0-5 and didn't look good in doing so. Hell, give Brown a look at leadoff. Perez just cannot hit major league pitching. Of course, that was said about Arias and Shark back in June-July-August, and they have both come alive at the plate. Don't have the luxury of that now, though.

Wondering what the splits are with Pagan batting leadoff and Hunter when he filled in as far as scoring first. Not saying Hunter takes the job full time but why not when Pagan has his flare-ups?

Lieutenant Trumbo has last word as D-Backs put Giants in handcuffs

Tonight was a tough loss as Lieutenant Trumbo had the last word against Giants pitchers hitting a Grand Slam and had 5 RBI's on the night. Vogelsong did not have his best stuff and the Giants bats could not put long enough rallies together to score more than 2 runs . Giants could not get that one big hit to pull them back into the game. Panik and Pablo each had 2 hits and Arias who has really turned it up a notch was 3-3 but it was not enough on this night. Giants lose 6-2.

Giants fall 4 games back with 12 to go and the day to day journey continues. It was all Lieutenant Columbo ...I mean Trumbo who put the handcuffs on the Giants costing them a big game. Tip of the cap and moving on.

Concern for Panda who injured his hip and Belt looks almost ready to play again.

Gotta have this series somehow someway.

Go Giants !!

This. Although I would have had Pence lead off.
