This game is interesting if just for the fact that two RoY candidates square up against each other.

What is this "lead" that you speak of? Is it some sort of metal? Is having one a good thing? E.G. "I have a lead foot, which means I like to go fast."

Don't have to worry about it anymore...

Definitely. This is nothing against Posey, but Tim just had that excitement and electricity every time out. Posey is all business. That's what gives Tim the edge, for me
And his fondness for the weed??? :D:D

Not a huge fan of 110 pitches tho....
I posted this at the end of the 6th, and I was really surprised that he came out for the 7th.

I know Hunter Strickland hasn't been that good since returning from his injury but I didn't realize how bad until looking up his numbers. In 8 games since activation (I thought he'd thrown in more than that), he's gone 7.1 innings, giving up 7 hits (not too bad), 4 walks, 8 runs (!), 5 earned runs and struck out 4 batters. The 2 home runs he's given up has doubled the amount he's allowed on the season. Ditto the earned runs.
Of course, he only had one really good month (April, and two good games in March) and was quite mediocre since then, so the injury only gave him a break in the acceleration of his break down.
