Need to see if other teams will bite on Luciano and Matos. Package them with a legit pitching prospect (Whisenhunt?) and get some win now help from a bad team

I am far from ready to punt on Matos. I don’t expect him to be an all star (I never did), but I think he can be a decent 3/4

That’s just it, we have plenty of OF depth now, to get someone good back we need to give something more than a bust-looking Luciano

Obviously, the return always matters. If we can get a perennial all star in return, OF COURSE I am game to trade him.

Perennial all star LOL. We just need a legit starting position player who can hit some. We aren’t getting a stud for Matos Luciano and Whisenhunt. Point is we can’t always hold onto these guys.
