At the moment, Notre Dame is the only team in the country with a win over a current playoff team.

It’s interesting how some are saying that Michigan should jump Notre Dame. Both have played a top 5 team. We won, they lost. They’ve played head to head. We won, they lost. They have a common opponent (Northwestern). They won by 3 we won by 10. They say that Michigan’s QB was just learning the system, while we played them with our second string quarterback. Oh, and our top running back didn’t play.
It boils down to everyone's dislike of Notre Dame. Always making reasons to knock the Irish down.
Also conference over country.
Syracuse being so good basically will seal the deal for us assuming we go 12-0.
No way are they going to leave us out if we go 12-0 and beat a top 15 Syracuse team in the 2nd to last week of the regular season
Northwestern beats Iowa to clinch spot in Big Ten Championship Game
So if Mich beats OSU then ND is the Big 10 Champion?
lets see if the pollsters can screw it up.
But ND won’t have a 13th data point. Alabama’s 13th data point this week is the Citadel. Georgia’s is Umass.
tradition rivalries for sure. lol
if nd goes unbeaten, with a win over michigan, and michigan is ranked higher than nd that would be a ripoff. wouldn't really surprise me though.
ND wins the head to head. One common opponent (Northwestern), ND wins by 10, Michigan wins by 3. Seems obvious that Michigan should get the pick over ND. We don’t have that Western Michigan 13th data point.
