Disappointing.....Kontos got up 0-2 on Montero. Would have been nice to put him away.

These are the 2014 numbers for Heston, but your point is that he was in AAA for two seasons is correct. Stratton needs some more seasoning. He began the season in AA Richmond, and did quite well. But the Coast league is a tougher place to pitch.

I think AA Eastern League is a place to show you can hit. AAA PCL is a place you can show you can pitch.
Slightly disagree.

Eastern league is where you show you can play. PCL is where you wait to be called up and refine your competitive skills.

This series, Giants have allowed 6 of 8 baserunners to score.

Two problems.

1) Too many baserunners to begin with by the starters

2) Relievers not coming to the rescue as they have all season
I'd say the Cubs are both out hitting and out pitching us. Here's to Tommy Hunter coming in soon.

Disagree on 2. This is all on the starters. The pen is doing what they can. First and 3rd no outs, the guy on 3rd is gonna score.

I am not watching, but I am listening to Flem.

He is done with Pagan. He said after the error that he is simply not doing anything well right now.

Well, this blows. Might the Giants kick the tires on some starting pitchers?

Just wanted to check in a get my daily Pagan-bash over with. Do the right thing, Boch. Starting tomorrow,

Oh and Fowler has made his career earnings thanks to the Giants. The guy is just always on base against us.

I hope not. As LHG posted in the Offseason thread, not much to go after, and I don't want to give up anything (of value) to get one. There's just not the urgency to win this year, probably correctly so. Some of the things they hoped would work just didn't. This happens.
