Sole possession of 3rd wild card, 1 game back of 2nd.Weird to feel bittersweet on a win, especially with the stretch this club has been in.
Hey, a series win! I forgot those existed. Giants now on pace to go 85-77
Well, if the Giants maintain this pace in the last 30 games, you will be spot on.Sole possession of 3rd wild card, 1 game back of 2nd.
Honestly the way it might shake out I might prefer the 3rd wild card. Let's say the Brewers win the division (likely), and Philly is the 1st wild card.
2nd WC plays at Philly, 3rd WC at Milwaukee. I think I prefer the latter.
By the way my season prediction was 85-77, 3rd wild card
I wonder if Kapler will push his next start back a day. Throw another opener. Speaking of which, do you all think Winn will get one of the two spots that come available on Friday?Brilliant game by Cobb for sure.
Gotta think he'll be gassed in his next start.
Tomorrow is a weekday day game. Just sayin.
I think it depends upon if we get Giolito.I wonder if Kapler will push his next start back a day. Throw another opener. Speaking of which, do you all think Winn will get one of the two spots that come available on Friday?
I knew it was high but didn't realize it was that high. Wow! I do think his next spot in the rotation either gets skipped or pushed back a day.131 wasn’t just the highest pitch count of Cobb's career; it was the highest pitch count from any starter in baseball since 2019. It was the highest pitch count from a Giants starter since Matt Moore, who also lost a no-hitter with two outs in the ninth inning.
